JLPT N3 Grammar
freshly; just (done)
Expresses having just been done and still fresh, usually with a positive evaluation. It is used only with certain words (焼きたて, 入社したて, 塗りたて); you cannot say 読みたて or 食べたて. It focuses on the freshness of the product, unlike 〜たばかり, which simply means having just finished.
