Hoạt động mạnh mẽ, sôi nổi: 活発に意見を交換する／活発な子. Chỗ “tràn đầy sinh khí” dùng 活気 (活気にあふれる), không dùng 活発. Dễ lẫn với 活躍 (hoạt động xuất sắc) và 活動 (hoạt động).
