Noun, referring to the family as a unit of living: 家庭を持つ, 家庭料理, 家庭生活, 家庭訪問. Different from 家族 (family members) and 家 (house).

Examples

私の家庭は両親と弟の四人家族です。My family is four people: my parents, my younger brother and me.
