Chỉ cái vừa nói đến hoặc sắp nói, có nghĩa “loại này”: こういう電車 = loại tàu như vậy. Cặp cùng họ: そういう (đó), ああいう (kia), どういう (nào). Dùng trước danh từ như một liên thể từ.
