巻く（まく）

to wind; to roll

Transitive verb: 包帯を巻く, マフラーを巻く, ねじを巻く. The intransitive form is 巻ける or 巻かれる (to be wound). Note the homophones 撒く (to scatter) and 蒔く (to sow).
