việc … tức là

Đặt tên hay định nghĩa (働くというのはどういうことか): mở đầu giải thích ý nghĩa. Cũng dùng để nêu lý do ở dạng 〜というのは〜からだ.

Examples

働くというのは、どういうことなのだろうか。Đi làm là có nghĩa như thế nào nhỉ?
ボランティアというのは、お金をもらわずに働く人のことだ。Tình nguyện viên là người làm việc mà không nhận tiền.
