てっきり

chắc mẩm

Dùng khi tin chắc điều gì nhưng thực tế hóa ra sai: てっきり〜と思った／〜かと思った. Vế sau thường là 実は／違った.

Examples

道案内をしてくれたので、てっきり地元の人かと思ったら、実は観光客だった。Vì được chỉ đường nên tôi chắc mẩm là người địa phương, ai ngờ lại là khách du lịch.
