Hành động tức thì không kịp suy nghĩ khi gặp tình huống bất ngờ: とっさに避ける／判断する. Phân biệt とっくに (đã từ lâu), じきに (chẳng bao lâu nữa), いまに (rồi sẽ).

Examples

階段で躓いて転びそうになったので、とっさに隣にいた友人の腕を掴んだ。Vì vấp cầu thang suýt ngã nên tôi theo phản xạ nắm lấy tay người bạn bên cạnh.
