Mất hy vọng vào người/việc mình từng kỳ vọng: 失望する／に失望した. Mạnh hơn がっかり (nhẹ, văn nói). Đừng nhầm với 油断 (chủ quan), 納得 (đồng ý), 覚悟 (quyết tâm).
